    Bunnings Fermenters?

I dont think I'll be using the lid, only because I'm using it for 2nd fermenting. If I use glad wrap do I need to sanitize it? I was thinking 'no' because its food grade and all. Yeah chappo, that bug bit me hard.

    Has Anyone Brewed In These?

Nice, I can get I few of these. Is it allright to use heat (say flame) to make the hole for the bung? Or will this turn out bad in terms of sanitization and the plastic breaking down?

    Bunnings Fermenters?

Another success for me today, as well as going to Big W, and scoring a cheap 19L pot. I also went to bunnings and purchased one of these as a second fermenter. Just to be on the safe side I used a strong amount of sodium percarbonate to soake as soon as I got home, after 4 hours I rised it...

Heads Up Big W Stockpots $12

Yay :D . I went to Big W today and at first was a little dissapointed as the 19L stock pots were advertised as $20,and 7.6L were $12. But after going through the self-service check out I realised we only paid $12 for the 19L, Stoked, Thanks for the heads up Bribie.

    Matilda Bay - Fat Yak

$30!! far out, i thought $20 was a bit rich. $20 is the limit for me for a 6 pack. but I suppose its changes for where you are.

    Matilda Bay - Fat Yak

I find it very hard to knock a Matilda Bay brew, what are you comparing with manticle? Alpha and 'now' Fat Yak are very close to my favourites at the moment (commercial beer wise). Bohemian Pisener was what got me into craft brewing.

    Kit Brewer

I stopped using tap water a month ago. Not a big fan of the water where I'm from. I'm about a week away from trying my new bottled water brews, this will give me the decision wheather to continue using the bottled water or not. What I read somewhere was, if your water has strong chlorine or...
