    I have just bottled a farmland lager this afternoon which I broke the hop teabag in. ;) No floaties that I could see,just nice clear beer. :D It sat in the fermenter for four weeks. No worries. johnm

    Jason The scum floating ontop is normal , it will settle and after 3+weeks you should have home made ginger beer. :D My five boys have appropriated on of my fermenters and now brew there own non alc ginger beer. B) johnm

    Looking for some more good advice from this great site :beerbang: My temp is a steady 16 degrees , is this too cold for the kit yeast. Raising the temp is one way. What if I pitch a s-23 will this alter the flavour , will it do the job ? Thanks johnm64

    My cheap benchmark brew was a Farmland lager $8 + 1kg Dextrose $2.44 Total cost $10.44 pretty damn cheep.
