    RecipeDB - Sticks and Stones

Moose, i've used pellets during the boil but i will be using (for the most part) flowers during the dry hopping. No real reason other than G&G had gotten a fresh delivery of them and i'd never used flowers before. I'll let you know how it goes. Truman i'm using your method and dry hopping 2...

    RecipeDB - Sticks and Stones

Cheers for the reply guys. Phantom, I'm happy to lose clarity in this brew to ensure that you still get the punch of galaxy both on the palate and with the aroma. The commercial version is no chardonnay in terms of clarity. I can imagine it's tough to find that spot where you realise the...

    RecipeDB - Sticks and Stones

Thinking of doing this, 23L chilled at some stage this week. Have there been any more members who have brewed this and had big success? I'm especially interested in what everyone's done when it comes to dry hopping, as i imagine that's the only way you can get that real big hit in a similar...

    Fed Square Microbrew Showcase

Mine are well and truly pickled, I assumed the same from everyone else. That's the sign of a good home brewer isn't it?

I'd definitely be interested in heading in. Would love to meet some more brewers from the site and pick some of your brains.

    Bull Bar Ban

You'll still get pretty messed up being hit by a car that doesn't have a bull bar. I think the government should ban more important things, like the use of the Australian flag as a cape. In my eyes, bull bars aren't so dangerous that there needs to be a ban.

    Cleaning Ag Equipment

Yeah, I was really slack. I had mates round on the day and celebratory brews got out of hand, hence no immediate cleaning. But each brew is a learning curve and I have a better understanding for next time on more than a few things. Thanks

    Cleaning Ag Equipment

I've got no napisan but I do have white king oxy lift. It says it contains sodium percarbonate, which I'm assuming means it's good to go. Thanks for all the help.

    Cleaning Ag Equipment

PBW seems to be getting the thumbs up from you guys. Would I be ale to buy it from grain and grape or any other retail store in Melbourne, or is it going to require an Internet purchase. Thanks for all the replies too guys

    Cleaning Ag Equipment

Hey guys. Finished my first all grain 2 weeks ago and just tasted the hydro readings then, and it has made me desperate to put down another one as it's already the tastiest thing i've ever put down. But, before i do that, i need to ask you guys a cleaning and sanitising question. My equipment...

    Rekorderlig Pear Cider

I was drinking a few of these on Saturday night. For me, it's the best cider I've ever had, but my experiences are limited. I was just wondering if anyone had come up with a clone recipe for it. I have been thinking about having a crack at home brewed cider and this would be a good start. I'm...

Whats The Worst Beer You've Ever Tried?

There's a few that I can't split. Miller chill is right up there. I also can't stand budwiser. I think the one that tops my list was this beer my mate bought called ice or something. I can't exactly remember the name but it made me gag much to my mates amusement. I can deal with vb and draught...
