Battling a Lupulin addicition...but making progress. Went to Yobs house over the weekend and resisted the urge to come home with more hops

A bit like the methodone programme....as a substitute for hops I left with a 3/4 full keg of beer.
It makes the withdrawal so much easier

A trip to Keg King and $140 (new manifold, 8 sets of keg seals and poppets, Hose clamps, and 10m of beer/gas line) and I found my leak.
I really need to sort out that gas leak....another empty cylinder.

lol.. youre right, I cant seem to shut you off/up either :)

Mofox, yeah, if I disconnect the line, the gauges will flatten out overnight, at the end of the day, Its a good idea to have them turned off, Id read too much of it happening before I even had kegs so was just natural for me to shut it off when not in use.

I recently discovered a small leak at the valve stem of my 2.6kg bottle. Hard to find but enough to empty the bottle if left on. Haven't had a chance to fix it yet, and not sure how to go about it.
tee hee...Superoo won his own coaster.

    The GrumpyPaul-Cocko collaboration.

"collaboration" - means I was there at the time.

Cocko may have sorted the recipe, ingredients, mashed in and operated the control panel...

While I stood around drinking beer and "collaborating"

Little fellas name is "Viktor Gavin"

Viktor is paternal great grandfathers name.
Gavin is maternal great grandfathers (my dad) name.

I can see him growing up "My name is Viktor...Viktor with a K"

For some strange reason I imagine him doing that in an Arnie Schwarzenegger accent
Someone broke into my shed/brewery. Teenage son not sure if anything missing. Clocking off early - telling boss i have a senstive family emergency to attend to.

Me starting a post "Now, I'm not usually one to stir things up..." I make me laugh sometimes
