Used to brew my little arse off before I was diagnosed with coeliac disease. Then stopped. Lived a depressing no beer life for about two years until I started to have a crack again. Experimented, experimented and experimented some more. Fucked alot of it up. Drove the missus crazy. Then finally found G/F maltodextrin from maize and added it to honey. Boiled some hops. Look out world I'm back in the game. Haven't looked back since. I still have the occasional "normal" beer but most of the time I replace liquid malt with honey and make my brew. Some might call it mead. I call it damn tasty. Throw in a few adjuncts, brochet a little honey, a silence falls on the crowd, I remind the crowd of the beauty that is dogfish head brewery. The crowd looks to itself and says 'YEAH' adjuncts are cool. Screw Reinheitsgebot.
And that my friend is my brewing world. Sweet, bitter and tasty with copious amounts of body, flavour and alcohol.
And all at the low price of 67cents Australian for a pint (screw you tax man).
Brewing, cooking, hunting and making luuurve to my lady. Oh and watching only THE best sport on the planet Rugby Union.
Quite frankly my dear...if it's not a beer I don't give a damn.
