    im using finings beacause all my brews have been cloady till about halfway through the keg, can i just put the primary in the fridge and chill before transfering it to the keg? instead of using finings cheers :beer:

    i dont have a second fermenter, so, just using primary, will it be ok, i was thinking when i take the first cup full of yeast that the heavier stuff will sink and i will just take the top half, leaving the finnings behind? i take it dead yeast is heavier than live? cheers :beer: Gav

    when i filled the fermenter i just used the hose (like i always do) this aerates it a fair bit i think, is this alright? i ve never had a prob before with dry yeast, i see action in under 4 hours every time, is liquid yeast that much better? is it worth the stress? how long would you guys give...
