What Has Been Your Best Extract Recipe?

I have been brewing for a few months now with great success (IMHO), much of which is due to the help from a mate that already brews. We have both enjoyed recipes posted on this site, most of which were not listed in the "extract recipe" section but were found from reading various forums and...

    Low Carb Beer?

Thanks for that, there could still be some strength to their argument (ignoring the thin/watery beer momentarily) that is; Low carb beer + full strength alcohol, could/would be less than, normal carb beer + full alcohol? But hey, if it can only be done by producing thin/watery crap, who cares...

    Low Carb Beer?

Whats the go with the hyp of lower carb beer made by Tooheys (White Stag)? They claim it is fermented longer to eat more sugars (which sort of makes sence), but dont you wait until the yeast has finished eating the sugars in the fermenter before it is bottled anyway? Is this like the Carlton...

I have found a recipe for a golden ale on his site that i like the sound of, however it calls for Dry Malt & Wheat extracts? What is the difference (and of course i realise...

    Two Beers From One Batch?

I cant cast any light on the subject, however have experienced something similar (well sort of) using a large kettle, large enough to do 4 x 23L batches at once, we often get different beers from the one batch? Everything is the same, it comes from the same kettle, yet we occasionally have found...

    Cleaning An Immersion Chiller?

$100 worth of free advice required please... New to (extract) brewing, the gear used in our first few brews was crude; however we liked the beer that we had made. Our first brews had an awesome aroma and flavour, however more recent brews have increased bitterness and less aroma? Recently we...

Bottles Primed, Accidently Stored At 4 Degrees For 2 Days

Thanks Guys for your words of wisdom, looks like I'll be sitting tight (keeping the temp up) and things should work out fine for my first brew! By the way i used the safale US-05 yeast. Thanks again, cheers! Matt

Bottles Primed, Accidently Stored At 4 Degrees For 2 Days

New to brewing and it shows! I finally put down my first brew, everything was looking good, fermenter had stopped bubbling, SG constant for three days, so i bottled the brew. Once bottled I put them back into the old cartons, and placed them back into the fridge that i used to control the temp...
