    British Ales

Cheers, Thanks guys. I'll visit my local homebrew supplier and see what they have on offer. I'm leaning more to a Cider now, as cans of the stuff at Dan Murphs is high expensive. But will et people know what I end up doing. BTW. My Stout that I brewed a few months back has come out trumps...

    British Ales

Hi all, Well I've just come back from the UK after 6 wonderful weeks. The weather could have been better but I had a great time sampling the local Ales and Cider. Can anyone please point me into a good direction on any kits that you can use to make a British Ale/Cider? I've done plenty of...

    Simple Brew

Cheers all. Gives myself and hopefully a few others a few ideas on what to look for. Jus to let you know, I've just put down a Bravian and Stout at the moment with BH2 and the yeasts that are supplied. Hopefully they come out good. Going to leave them for 3 weeks before bottling. Does...

    Cleaning Brew Kits

Hi all, I just bought a Coopers Sanitiser from Kmart. My question is that I've got a bit of mould growing in the keg (was a hand me down from a mate). Will this kill the mould, and I can just wipe it clean with a cloth, or shall I do something else? Thanks

    Low Carb Beer

Hi guys, Has anyone made any low carb beer yet? I did a search of the site, but got responses for Carbination only. While I was in the States I was really impressed with Miller/Bud/Anything else Lite. Full strength beer but with low carbs. I'd be intrested on peoples thoughts and ideas on...

    Simple Brew

Hi there, I'm just wondering on the best simple brews that you can buy from K-Mart and Big W. I'm only asking cause I don't have the time to add hops and its going to be a while before the next pay day comes round :P I've done the Coopers Mexican, Mexican with lime, and Larger. Now looking...

    Too Long To Bottle?

Hi all, I've put on a K&K Coopers Mexican a few weeks back (3weeks) this Sunday and have yet to bottle it. Will it be ok to bottle. The FG has been constant for over a week now, but I'm worried that it might go feral, as I've left it go past the norm. I've been away with work and hadn't got...

    Temp Controlled Brewing

I too would like to Temp Control my brew. But alas my misses won't allow any more toys for a while, so that means no more fridges, or kegging equipment. :( So besides the old evap method, what other ways can I chill my brew to the right temps? I tried looking for the 100 can beer cooler as...

    Brew Infection, Who's Had It?

Yep had one, only realised when the bottles tasted really bad (cracked a few other to check it wasn't isolated but nope seemed that by reusing the the plastic PET bottles the lids were not cleaned properly and caused infection. Wasn't happy, but have learned from my mistake. I have to agree...

    Coopers European Lager

Thanks Morgue. About Racking, what is a easiest way to do this? I have 2 kegs and have read that you get a hose (from bunnings or similar), attach it to the tap and leave the other end of the hose in the other cleaned keg (on the floor of the keg to advoid splashing). Is this correct, or...
