Been home brewing since 1996. Mainly done kits, and prefer Coopers Lager and Pale Ale. Interested in getting into more advanced brewing and my aim is to one day develop my own brew made from scratch.<br />

Just brought my first keg system yesterday and am keen to test it out. Wish the beer would ferment overnight, however I'll just have to be patient <br />

Since jumping on the forum a few short weeks ago I now have 3 kegs and have drained two brews in the name of science. Just made my first lime beer today (10 Mar 09).<br />

I really dislike people who propose to be an expert because they have thousands of post on websites. Whilst on here Iam an amature brewer because of the number posts, I have brewed for about 13 years. I brew kits because I prefer them and haven't yet got the time and resources to go full AG. I make additions and experiment but I brew because I enjoy it. That's what it is all about. It may be cheap, or it may get more costly, but making it yourself is why we are here.<br />
