    Kegging Setups

    Only the keg side is controlled directly (STC1000), the fermenting side is adjustable using the "coldness dial" which I guess is merely a vent to the freezer side.

    I'm not sure if anything like this has ever been done before, but I've decided to call my little setup, a ferkegerator! That's a fermentor, keg and refrigerator all together. Pictures can do all the talking, but basically, I can serve beer at 2 degrees and ferment at between 15 and 20 degrees...

    Mangrove Jacks Craft Series

    I put down a mangrove jacks mild a few weekends ago, straight from the pouch it looked and smelt better than the normal tins, only time will tell if it turns out though. However, even though it had "premium yeast" I still didn't see as much activity as I had previously with S04.

    Thanks for the tips guys, but the brew went down as described in the OP. It's sitting in my temp controlled fermenting fridge (excited about this), and SG readings slowly going down. Last reading was approx 1.016 so a couple days to go before crash chilling. Tasted the hydro sample, of course...
