A 17th century German Hop.
Originates from Wuerttemberg Swabia (around Stuttgart).
This is a very old and rare cultivar, which has been genetically improved by traditional agriculturalists, but has not been influenced by modern breeding practices. It may be related to Tettnanger or Saaz.
Pleasant continental aroma characteristics, ideal for late hopping of lagers.
