But as said, your flame is not efficient enough. Im not expert but it clearly cant be a blue flame and must have a fair bit of orange in it.

What's with all the xxxx and vb box's?
the ones under the big bench are all full bottles of homebrew.
the vb boxes are a brew of cider for SWMBO
THE OTHER boxes in the white shelves are empty clean stubbies boxed up waiting for some brew
got about 32 ctns of different brews and age plus about 120 tallies in orange baskets of varied brew
I like options lol

Great shed.

But seriously, wtf!! Why are you hanging 50 odd litres of near boiling liquid from rope for?... Call me old fashioned but it just seems incredibly dangerous.

Is it to get to cube height? Just prop your burner on bricks or something... Did I miss something?

Cocko,
since you asked the rope in question is brand new 12 mm silver rope slings that I spliced that morning b/s good enough to tow your car.
if you look there is a table there that I slid under the pot to cube from
being a ex pro fisho I do know what the rope is and was bought Friday arvo.
i'm getting two slings made tomorrow from 5mm stainless wire swaged I think unless I feel like splicing it myself which I can.
wtf did I miss something ? probably .
know your own gear !!!!
cheers

Fair enough mate, reason and safety were my main thoughts but sounds like you are on to it.

Still think jacking up the burner with something is a much safer route but hey, each to their own!

Again, great looking shed - pretty jealous really.

Happy brewing.
