Shaft from geared motor fits into top cap. (The D-shaft fits into a D-hole in the top cap)
The whole heat exchanger can be disassembled (if required) by removing the two bolts either side holding the motor's frame in place, lifting the motor frame off, and cutting the cable tie just below the t-piece of the outlet.
