Approx 170 litres of potting mix per half wine barrel pot (I bought a trailer load of potting mix). The trellis only extends 9 feet up from the ground as it is limited by the neighbours tree (which I have hacked into already since he was agreeable to me trimming it). I have used braided stainless steel cables and eyebolts etc.I got the 1/2 barrels from Paramount Browns on Cavan Road for $40 each.
