The enclosures i used have a rubber seal under the lid, so I spent a few extra dollars and bought waterproof cable glands. It does mean the power cable is attached so when I move the pot around I have to deal with that cable too ... we'll see, no doubt there will be 'fun times' but atleast the entire thing is water proof
