Ok we cracked another bottle tonight after its two month cold lagering after being bottled and stored in a cool light proof area in Oct 2009.
The stickyness of the brew has almost gone, and the massive burnt flavours have mellowed a fair bit and is much more drinkable beer now. Definitely got a bit of an alcoholic kick, but cannot taste it past the massive flavour of it all.
