For the decal inserts a got some scrap sheet metal from work and cut to size with tip snips and filed it off the burrs for a snug fit and attached with double sided tape. I used a flat black water based enamel 250ml pot (White Knight - Splashes) that I picked up from Bunnings on it giving it that "chalk board" effect after spraying it with cold gal from what was left over from the inserts on the back bar.
