First brew today, using the 36L recipe pack I got with the kit, a Golden Ale clone.
The recipe is a BrewMate printout, and requires 51L of strike water in a 50L pot, hmmmm. Added 10L less strike water and will sparge with 10L at the end of the mash,. Hopefully that will work out okay.
Once I get around to plumping in the Recirc I'll ditch the thermowell and maybe add a malt pipe, so sparging like the Grainfather should be easy.
