Hi all,
So I thought a return to the old style Stammtisch would be a good idea. One recipe - the only variables are the way you conduct the mash and ferment. As I rarely brew English beers thought I would make it an English IPA.
Recipe is as follows
English IPA
OG - 1.065
86% British Ale malt
4% Munich II
4% Biscuit
3% Med crystal
3% Wheat
IBU's - 52
Bittering with EKG
1g/L - Challenger @ 10min
1g/L - Fuggles @ 10min
0.75g/L - Fuggles @ 0min
0.75g/L - EKG @ 0min
Dry hopped with EKG - 0.75g/L
Yeast is WLP013
Entries must be ready before the Adelaide Spring case swap where judging will take place in a best of show format. The specific date is yet to be set but will be in November sometime. Will update this thread once date is confirmed.
Interstate entries more than welcome. Contact me for details if you wish to send in entries. I'm sure drop off locations around Adelaide will be available for drop off if not attending the case swap (for SA brewers).
Good luck all. Hope to see a few more entries this time.
