Have been looking at NS recipes and I have also tried the NS Lager. Am a bit confused with your recipe details, use used an ale yeast??

BYB

Yeah BYB I used an ale yeast as I was in a hurry. The thing that I'm a bit perplexed about is that I never started a thread about the brew that I made last year?

Steve,

discussion threads are automaticly started when you enter a recipe. you can always delete at the time if you don't want it there, but makes it easier (like above) for people to ask questions.

cheers ross

I have been wanting to replicate the knappstein reserve lager for a while... great beer! I had been told it was a 1 grain 1 hop beer so I am supposing you are pretty much spot on. Re the yeast... what liquid yeast strain would be most appropriate? I have complete temperature control so can ferment as low as i need to.
