Inkbird waterproof probe option

More a question for Inkbird, but thought would post it on the open forum so more people can gauge on who would be interested in the option.

I have an inkbird ibt-4xs that I use for my smoker, great unit. I wanted to also use it for quick brews when I don't want to play with my 3V or 1V, and drag out the old BIAB setup. But found out if you submerge the probe in water the probe is ruined.

Could you produce probes that brewers can upgrade to that would be water proof. I'd be happy to purchase a couple for my requirements.

Thank you for contacting us.
IBT-4x is BBQ thermometer,so it's not fit for brewing.
We have temp controller ITC-308 for brewing.

The probe of 308 is waterproof,but the connection between probes and wire is not.
So you may be careful when you use it.
We have ITC-306 updated version,which probe is waterproof,and great for Aquarium.
The probe can be submerged into water.
