Getting closer to inaugural brew day on the 35 gen4. Just wondering if other users set the element power to 100% during boil and what sort of boil off rate you get. Obviously I'll run a test batch first on mine but having a start point would save me a little time. Cheers.

Bought a maltzilla, just wondering what a good gap size would be to start at. Just in general for ale malts, but if you change it for wheat etc keen to know what that setting is too. Thanks.

So I'm just getting back into brewing, last time I brewed I was making starters and using liquid yeasts with London Ale 3 etc for my hazies but I was just keen on seeing how these newer dry yeasts like Verdant are stacking up. Is it safe to ditch my stir plate yet or not?
