Perlick flow control taps are listed on farmhousebrewingsupply.com website as well now. A little cheaper than morebeer ($45 vs $50 if i remember right).

Adam.

I would go for the flow-control perlick's too. They didn't exist when I got my 525/575s :)

BUT the ones i see on Farmhouse are chrome plated. You'd want SS ones.

Don't go by the postage that the website spits out, you need to contact the guy to get a proper quote. I think postage is normally about 50$

OK I'll post here first

They are the same as these

I bought from CB around 5 years ago, as you can see they are silver not gold. Stainless of course and each tap has a seal kit with it, I can fit it or you can.

This is what you get, you'll need a shank to go through your fridge and a handle.

Now that I have purchased 2 of these are there different types of shanks to get?

get these they are worth it. craft brewer has them for about 69 each

and get these, they look great!

The craftbrewer price doesn't include shipping OR stainless steel shanks... which are an extra 60$ on CB's website... PER TAP!!!

So, last time I ordered perlick's WITH 4" Stainless shanks they came to 66$ delivered (each). and that was with the exchange rate not as good as it now!

Now that I have purchased 2 of these what shanks will fit them and where should I get them from?

Hi Cambrew,

These should fit. or alternatively you could get these and put them on a font with snaplocks or use a snaplock on your fridge like this .

As you can see there are plenty of options and even more if you search. You will be able to pick up shanks from overseas cheaper, but shipping may not be economical. In the end it depends on what you want and your budget.

Someone here might have some second hand ones to sell.

Wally

I have been shown this website http://www.rcbequip.com/item5058.ctlg has anyone else bought off these guys and is it safe? (I wont get my credit card details stolen as I have had my paypal account hacked before and get a bit paranoid about these things).
