Yeast starter

It's been a while since I have made a yeast starter. Can someone please refresh my head.
It's a helles larger. Using bohemian wyeast 2124. The brew size is 44 lts.
How many smack packs am I needing?
What size will my yeast starter be?
Etc etc

Depends on your OG, and whether or not you're stirring the starter or not (stir plate). Stirred, with 1 smack pack you'd need a 4.7 litre starter, with 2 smack packs, 4 litres would do it, assuming a 1.045 OG. Of course that depends on the age of the smack packs too.
