Hi all,

I made up 2 different batches of Mangrove Jacks ciders on Saturday I did them both exactly the same but today only one of them seems to be fermenting with no activity registering in the airlock of one fermenter. Both are being stored in the same environment, both show the same temperature on the gauge. Any ideas why one may have started and one not and what I can do to get the other one moving?
Thanks

Airlock kittens are on strike
Have you checked the gravity of both brews?

No not yet. I’ve never had an issue with airlock before and every other brew clearly shows it’s working via the air lock

I’ve just opened it up and had a look and remeasured the gravity. It has dropped and there is little air bubbles in the brew so I assume the yeast is working but not as good as the other batch
