After lots of talk, I have finally got a bit of a yeast farm coming together (see http://brewiki.org/Yeast/Culturing#farm)

I have also made a beer (APA #6) with the CL-50 and it finished at 1.010 and is tasting very fine indeed.

Yeah, I just went and tipped out all me beer when I realized the crush was stuffed :(
 
way to go sos.this is the path i intend to go when i get off my backside and give it a try.any pointers for begineers apreciated.

D Man - all I know is on the wiki page at http://brewiki.org/Yeast/Culturing

Read the links a couple of times and you are good to go. Best thing is to try it.
