Wyeast 1275 Krausen Explosion

Just pitched this yesterday which was washed and reused from my last batch in to 2 x 22 litre batches in 30 litre fermenters at 18 degrees.

Just went and had a look in the fridge and the krausen is climbing out of the top, just exploded all over the place. That's with 8 litres of headspace in each vessel.

Safe to say that the yeast is pretty healthy. I used a 2 litre starter for each batch which I didn't think was overpitching.
 
Two litres for an ale is probably a little too much.

I have 1275 try to climb out of most dark worts, it can be a beast.
