I'm in need of a copper wort chiller. Is anyone in Melbourne selling?

Or... I'm happy to make one. Only problem is that Bunnings sell copper in 18 meter lengths and I only want about half that. Anyone want to buy the other half?

I made this for my previous rig, I'll be making a larger version for the new rig. Coil section is 350mm diameter x300mm high, supply tube is another 200mm on top of that. Connection is by standard 1/2" garden hose connectors which are silver brazed to the tube.

In case it's not obvious from the pic, there are 3 x 10mm coils each 3.3m long, arranged in parallel and fed from a single 1/2" supply tube. This appears to be more efficient than a single coil.

If the size suits, you can have it for the cost of the parts; IIRC that was about $80. Pickup in Willy.

Awesome. Will need to get home and measure my pot but it should fit. Are you selling it now or do you need it until you build the new one?

If I sell this now I might get off my arse and finish the new rig, been noodling with it for weeks now.
