Hi all
I picked up this keg some years ago and finally decided to do something with it.
I'm planning on using it to "cask condition" some ale by adding sugar to the keg. However, I'm not sure how much pressure it can withstand. It doesn't have a pressure relief valve but I thought I might be able to monitor the pressure by using a tyre pressure gauge on the tyre valve.
It looks as though it could handle it but I don't know how much co2. Pressure would build up while it's conditioning.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks and cheers

These kegs come up on ebay every now and then.
Most of them are pretty old, and made from aluminium. If it wasn't pitted/corroded inside & held pressure ok it'd probably be good for a party keg, but personally i wouldn't want to be keeping beer in it for any length of time...
If yours is stainless, then disregard my comments!

Yes it's aluminium so I'll take your advice and maybe use it as a party keg sometime.
Cheers
