Unfortunately, there is no chance of this.

bypassing the proxy would be a sackable offence. I don't have enough in my super to retire just yet....

Maybe there is a member of the executive somewhere who keeps a watch on AHB, who can have this despicable decision reversed.

This happened to me at a place I worked at once,I used another site 'anonymous' or something,you log into that then you can get AHB again.

im lucky enough to have a mate in IT at our place. Occasionally it gets blocked - I send him an email and bypasses it. Hard luck Fester, what you going to do all day now?

I was going to suggest using external (web-based) proxies too, but if they're going to sack you for going to ahb.com, they'll surely sack you for dodging their proxy.

I agree with the suggestions of getting yourself on the second proxy. I worked at a large corporation for a few years and I met an IT staffer through friends. He leaked the second proxy to me and I was back in the game! (Shame I didn't know about AHB back then...)

I'm not sure how possible this would be, but if the ahb.com.au domain was an alias rather than a redirect to aussiehomebrewer.com, the site could be accessed via either domain name. It would be less likely that the ahb.com.au domain was in the fun nazi database because it hasn't been used much in the past. There might have to be some consensus from the users to only use ahb.com.au if there was a need, to ensure it doesn't also get blocked. It's just a thought, maybe Dane could shed some more light on whether it is worth looking at.

I had a similar problem at a workplace once. I had shell access to a friends server in the US, so I set up a https proxy. The beauty of a https proxy is that browsers don't cache https sites.

Oh shit.
I hope you don't work for the same company i do. Without AHB, i'd have to...work. Instead of making the trainee do it all while i surf for beer porn.

Even Better do some work as i know most bosses would nt like there workers bludging reading good ahb stuff but then again i see most bosses and offices workers doing the same looking at other sites i spos i would do the same
