Hi All,

Was browsing through the ESB brewshop on Friday and came accross this vial of this - WLP568. It was about 8 months out of date so I took it off their hands for nix.

It responded well to a two liter starter, lots of activity, so was pitched into a simple Weizen of 50% pils, 50% wheat, 50gm saaz @ 60min ( it was all the grain i had on me!)

Anyone actualy used this yeast before? The only Saison I have had before was in last years NSW Xmas case swap (bloody nice drop it was from Stuster)

Whats it like, any tips?

Cheers

I have not used that yeast.

Have a read through the style of the week thread here

Plenty of good info on Saisons

Probably the biggest factor is a saison needs to finish dry

Kabooby :)

Thanks for that, i will read through that one today at work!!
