I'm a real impulse buyer at times. I saw this yeast at the LHB, and as it is a platinum limited release yeast, i bought it.

Only problem is, the yeast has no info on whitelabs site. Anyone used this yeast and reccomend styles? There's a little bit of info on ESB's site, but not much.

optimum ferment temp 19.4 oC...

75%-68% apparent attenuation, Med Flocc

Complex fruit and citrus flavors.

Great for British bitters and pale ales.

And "apparently" this used with the recipe from BYORAAH(wheeler & protz) "Sarah Hughes ruby mild" will make a "copy" of the real thing

the yeast is from adnams. get a bottle of suffolk ale or broadside and have a taste....ive just racked a bitter i made with it and it seems pretty low on fruitiness, even though it fermented at 22, took about a week and a bit to clear but eventually dropped ok. fermented very dry, i wish i used more crystal. not THat impressed with the flavour just yet but ill see how it goes
