This weekend so far has involved 2 double batches & 2 single batches. The 3rd of each is boiling as I type.

Crushing the grain for the APA which was the 1st single batch (we really wanted to use a blender but didn't have 1 so were forced to use a grain mill)

Trying to get the march pump to work (apparently we needed a July pump (hahaha))

Having realised that the march pump wasn't going to work we decided it would be a great idea to put the mash tun on a keggle, amazingly no one knocked it off

Yes, it does take 3 people to prevent a boilover

So far we've brewed a single APA, Litha ale & Litha rye ale as well as double batches of ESB, Double dead guy clone & ANZAC ale. The plan for tomorrow is single batches of amarillo brown ale & hop god ale & doubles of Munich dunkel lager & LCBA clone. I'm not sure if we've decided whether or not we're brewing on Monday before heading back to Adelaide.

Sorry about the sideways photos, I'm buggered if I know how to fix that.

Good session by the looks of it mate.

Loverly pink gloves those.

A few more photos from last weekend.

I have read that. I've also read to not believe everything I read. I wasn't sideways though, I just couldn't work out how to get the photo the right way round.

Good to see you got the photos sorted Kieren. I'm guessing that my email to say how to do it was if little or no use & you had to figure it out yourself.

Legham helped me get the photos up. A few more...

gotta love the piccys of the cubes and the spent grain pile! Very impressive! Looks like a very productive weekend

I have read that. I've also read to not believe everything I read.

Which part, the drinking to excess while brewing, or it being a beautiful part of the country? ;)

I have lived in Whyalla and all my family is from Pt Augusta so I'm allowed to make jokes about it!

Nice pic of you all sitting infront of the cubes.

Let me know if you ever have a spare bottle of the hop god ale - as you may know - I am a bit partial to hops.

No worries, I'll swap for a 10min IPA if you have any.

I brewed the Hop God to fill a 25L cube so should be a few bottles to spare.
