Anyone seen the new yeast "blends" made by Whitelabs, that basically are a mix of differnet yeast strains?

I was wondering what peoples opinions on culturing these yeasts are, i would have though that certain yeasts in each blend would end up being more dominant, and that you'd change the profile of the yeast mix, basically meaning these are a one-shot yeast?

Here's an example

10th Anniversery Ale Yeast Blend
White Labs started in 1995 with 5 strains available to home brewers:WLP001, WLP002, WLP004, WLP300, and WLP810. They wanted a blend with all of these strains, but the WLP300 Hefeweizen just didn't fit. So they have crafted a blend using unique proportions of WLP001 California Ale Yeat, WLP002 English Ale Yeast, WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast, and WLP810 San Fran Sisco Lager Yeast. A truly unique blend that will test a brewers imagination! For a limited time only.

Attenuation: 75-80%; Flocculation: medium; Optimum Ferm. Temp: 16C - 22C

The weird thing is for WLP010 is they don't list any styles of beers that the yeast is suitable or best used for.
They also don't give any indication to the flavours or profile for the yeast.
Maybe they should call it the lottery yeast :D

Looking at the yeast they have combined it would be a very clean malty profile --

Certainly worth a play.

i'm more interested in the belgian blend, wonder if there's anything funky in there or if it's just a mix of the 500, 530 and 550?

also exciting to see the bastogne is back - lovely stuff
