Hi all,
Well I had a electric urn, and sent it over to myself in Perth, and it never arrived, got waylaid in a rubbish pile....
Nevetheless, could a Western Australian help me locate a good start point for the search for a secondhand 30L urn?

The Quokka seems useless.

Cheers

Case - they often have them at Ross' Salvage, that could be worth a look.

If you are feeling rich, try the Birko web page

Anyone got a ballpark about what I should pay for a working 30L, maybe $50-100?

Total Comercial Equipment at 36 Amherst Street Fremantle have a range of second hand and reconditioned urns from 15 to 40 litres. I purchased a 30 litre unit last week for $90 but you have to be prepared to haggle with him.

Hi there,

I'm always looking at the Quokka for urns and have bought a 20L ($50) & 30L ($90) Zip over the last 18 months or so. However I consider myself lucky as they seem to be few and far between. Here's a link to a place up in Landsdale that claims to have a range of 2nd hand urns from $50

Yes I alway keep an eye out for urns too , have had four up till now.

Still have a 20lt made into my HERMS exchanger , an a nice 30lt job on lone to a very good AG brewery I am told.
I will sample his beers tomorrow and report back
