Hi all,

I have about a dozen kegs of different designs and ages, some of them completely unusable. I could really use some new posts, release valves and a whole bunch of seals and gaskets. My local shop has a small selection of parts and charges handsomely - it would cost me a small fortune and I'd still only end up with half of what I need <_<

Any tips on a good supplier for this kind of stuff? (I'm in Melb)

Anyone have a box of keg parts they don't need any more? :p

Hi WG,

Try Craig Deacon at Keg Systems (Sydney), or Terry at Brewer's Discount (USA).

Cheers,
Jase

Brewersdiscount. Full stop. Keg systems is still dear as buggery, alright if your only after one post ($20) but if your building a few kegs back up then your better off buying new kegs in some instances.

If you need posts and pressure release valves and poppits then hold onto your hat. She'll get dear real quick. Brewersdiscount has the cheapest available anywhere and it will only cost you about $12AUS for postage if the total weights under 4lbs.

Hope it helps.

that only works if they respond to your e-mails and process your order....

Here is a hint:
USE THE SECURE ORDER FORM TO PLACE YOUR ORDER.

Terry receives too many emails like: "Are your kegs round?", "Do these work for beer?" and "Can I return them if I don't like homebrewing?".....well you can see it can get pretty dumb.

USE THE SECURE ORDER FORM. Those orders are processed daily.

hahahah - that is not nice Dunkel Boy....

Its got to be caused by the full moon - the only explanation.

Cheers

Thanks guys. I might have to see how far I can get just replacing all the rubber o-rings - including the little ones inside the relief valves and poppets.

The B&D site seems to just have the under-post gaskets, not the little ones, and it sounds like Craig prefers to sell 'kits' which are a bit pricey and may be the same.

I think I might try my luck with a specialist o-ring mob.
