and these hops

funggles

cascade

Have you got any suggestions on what to make with it. I am planning to brew on the weekend was thinking of doing 2 on the one day

Thanks Strubes.

What is cryer grain?

Anyway, allowing a little time for some cheap ring ins..

Brew 1:

80% Ale
12% Pils
8% Crystal - Ring in or if cryer is similar

All Centennial and cascade - evenly split at 20, 10 and FO.

US05 - ring in or maybe your American lager would work..

Nice.

Brew 2:

60% Ale
30% Pils
5% Wheat
5% Caramunich - Ring in or if cryer is similar.

Bitter - fuggles
Flavour - EKG
Aroma - Styrian

English Ale yeast.

Sorted.

2c.

This question has always confounded me.

I have a freezer full of hops, and fridge full of yeast and a laundry full of grain.

My problem is, I have a gazillion ideas of what to brew. :D

What do you like to drink?

mmm, and I have no idea what type of beer you like... no recipe ideas here sorry :D

what size brews are you doing.
id put all pilsner with your lager yeast.
and ale grain with your ale yeast.

Bobek, haven't heard of that hop before.
Build something around that.

Here's a few ideas.

Honestly... If you have that much stock on hand you shouldn't be at a loss to come up with something.

Good hop - derivative of the British hops, but IIRC grown in continental Europe (I'm at work, so I can't check/czech). Goes great in British style ales - I've bottled an ESB last week using Bobek and First Gold (guess which one that descends from), and tasting out of the fermenter, it's going to be a fantastic beer. If you want a British Pale Ale/ESB, Brown Ale or something of a similar variety, Bobek will work well.

Goomba

3kg Ale malt
2kg Wheat malt

Willamette 60 mins 35IBU
2g/L Tettnang 10 mins or in cube.

English Ale yeast

What do you like to drink?

I like beer thats don't have an over powering malt taste but has a medium to high hop/bitter taste. I am happy to try anything as I have just started to brew allgrain and all I have ever drank the good old commercal beer eg. tooheys new, super dry, vb, pure blonde. I have just started to drinking JS golden ale and other pale ales, so any help would be great.

Cheers
