if u want to fit 6 kegs in the freezer - then u need at least a 325ltr one.
These are hard to find and expensive.
Hence, as a cheaper alternative - i am using Jayse's model - which is a cool room cooled by and thermostatically controlled airconditioner.
I have sourced second hand 4inch thick freezer panels 1.2m X 2.4m for 50.00 ea. looking at 1.8m long x 1.2m high x 600 deep. Will need 3 panels as the floor will be 19mm exterior ply wood...
Just need the angle iron and some pot rivets.
I can make this to fit the size i want - mount the aircon in one end etc.
I will be making mine to fit double size fermenters as well as 8 kegs etc. I will be using a door in the front and making the top fixed.
But cant build this until the cellar/ale conditioning room is done, followed by the bar so i know exactly how much room i have...
As big as you can get!
The really big jobs are a bit cheaper 700-800lt as they are nomally too big for the average family
I am looking for a beast like Docs
Its a pity so much of this fridge is wasted space. ie Air.
It would be great if you could divide the fridge into zones and pour the beer directly into the fridge, assuming it is water tight, and a drain tap could be added to each zone.
