You should make a separator to fit before your spunding valve and gauge, save any shite getting into them. Worth the couple of dollars to make to save you any grief.

Just some blue silicone grommets I purchased from KK, I did have to punch one hole in one side, the bottle was about $2.00 from Bunnings.
