You can get male ball lock fittings for them, theyalso need bigger rubber washers under them.

I had one of those kegs several years ago.

it was initially a pin lock keg, and i purchased some ball lock fittings that have the screw in adaptor. Pretty sure i sourced them from mybeershop.com.au but i'll be buggered if i can find them now.

They literally just screw them into the threads in the top of the keg and you're good to go.They are a two piece post.

Give them a call or email and see if they still sell them.

its a mytton rodd keg
you will need the following:

- Racetrack lid (with o-ring) $29 new
- gas post $27 new
- beer post $27 new
- beer dip tube (if you don't have one) $15
- gas dip tube (if needed, I have three of these kegs and only 1 needs a gas tube)
- 2x dip tube o-rings $0.80ea
- dip tube gasket (for the beer dip tube) $0.80
- 2x lifesaver washers $1ea

it will be cheaper to buy a secondhand reconditioned keg for around $60.
The two posts and the lid will set you back about $90

cheers for your input... think it might be converted into something else... cost too much to and as stated above easier just to get a 2nd hand keg with all the fittings
