'scuse me ignorance, but what are Wetpacks (eg: Country Brewer's), and are they worthwhile?

I'm assuming there is a boiling process, but they don't constitute a 'partial' do they? Is the end result better than say a fresh wort, or markedly better than one of the good kits (I know...oxymoron) with LME and extra hops added?

What process is involved?

Thanks in advance,
Chucky

similarly has anyone used the esb dry packs?

Got an answer elsewhere.

They include all the ingredients and easy instructions for a partial.

Sorry Bobby, no answer on the ESB dry packs.

Cheers,
Chucky

I've done the pilsner and the porter. The pils was pretty good but I've done better since building one from scratch with extract + specialty and using a liquid yeast.

mycle.
