Anyone tried to recondition and use it in a brew?

Another thread has it as a proprietary blend of 2 British Ale yeasts, which I thought was odd for an American Wheat beer..

Anyone got any tips for salvaging a way overcarbed bottle?
I've got a few bottles of punch & judy's at home that are pretty overcarbed and sitting the bottle open for an hour, giving it a little swirl every so often doesn't really work

*oops, thought I posted this in the other thread*

Do they use the main ferment yeast for bottle conditioning or is it (as Little Creatures do) a different yeast?

I'm pretty sure MHB confirmed once that they use English Ale yeasts in the main fermentation. I've done a few knockoffs using Chico ale yeasts, work ok.

Spork, I'd suggest chilling to near freezing then pour carefully into a jug.

I tried reusing the whale ale yeast a few years ago, it turned out pretty ordinary. I don't think they use the same yeast but you could always give it a go. I could have screwed it up.
