Anyone heard of them?. I picked up a beire de garde of theirs today. Will save it for next weekend.

Yeh mate the bloke gave us a talk on enzymes the other week at the Inner Sydney Brewers meeting. He seems to love the rarer type of beer. I won a bottle of their Devils Advocate Eisbock Special reserve for asking the stupidest question.......... I dont want to drink it. They have beers on tap in sydney but I have yet to find a place that has them.

had both the eisbock and the bier de gard. both are really good.
had many of their other beers as well
if you read this pete you owe me.

Had their Charmer red India ale off the hand pump at the Royal Albert a couple of weeks ago, awesome. Follow them on twitter @waywardbeer for where their beers are on tap.

The founder of the company, Pete, is a great guy who is passionate about brewing and sharing his knowledge. As others have mentioned he is a regular at the Inner Sydney Brewers meet-ups. He usually leans towards European styles but puts his own twist on them. I've tried the Keller Instinct and the Charmer Red IPA both of which were light and easy drinking.

Well done, don't blame you for taking that one straight to the pool room.

Medal for Stupidest Question what a beauty. :beerbang:

I'll vouch for them being nice people, haven't tried the beers go though. I love their vibe though, very Sydney... for a couple of hosers :)

Bugger next week. I cracked it last night. Very big malt aroma, and very smooth, with some interesting character at the back. Very nice beer. Drank like it had a bit more body than in trois monts, but not heavy or cloying. Very nice.
