Our new BBQ has an outdoor sink that I now dream of connecting as a brewing water supply. The BBQ has an excellent triple ring burner and a large stainless steel work area so it will make a superb brewery.

The water supply has a nylex tap fitting. What sort of hose should I use to connect to from the tap?

I don't like the idea of just using a normal garden hose.

It's only a ciuple of metres so cost is not an issue. Size is normal half inch garden hose.

Silicone for the win. All good hbs has it.

Most hardware and caravan places have drinking water grade hoses.

The Temple of the Big Red Hammer has 10 m ones for $20. Unless you need to move hot water, in which case silicone is probably the go but is about 5x the price.

would the gas burner from a bbq be good enough?
i was thinking of doing this to, would one boil 50l?
