Any water profile will do, but originally Pale Ale was made with Radelaide water which is slightly harder than most tap waters. ie, touch of gypsum, chalk and epsom salts , but this will all depend on the water your starting with
20 - 23lt brew: 3g Gypsum, 1g Calcium Chloride, 1g Epsom Salts.
That's a simple go to in many Bronzed Brew recipes for Aussie Pale Ales. If your starting with a close to blank profile.
That is very close to my standard water profile that has the additions of my last post added to filtered Melbourne Water.
I'm happy with every beer I've made with it.
