Hey all a few weeks back I made a JAO and while that's doing it's thing I want to make a traditional mead. Just honey, water, yeast and nutrients. I purchased some white labs sweet mead yeast. All the recipes i read seem a bit over whelming. I was thinking 1.5 to 2kg of honey some yeast nutrient I purchased and water and yeast to fill. I've also invested in a hydrometer. I have no idea how to use. After watching and reading countless tutorials and recipes I'm still stumped as to what I should do. Thanks in advance!

Hey Alex, what part of it is so overwhelming for you? I'm pretty new to Mead making myself and currently just doing small 5 litre batches.
