Using sieve when transfering to fermenter

I've brewed 4 partial grain recipes and so far they have turned out pretty good. However I haven't been pouring chilled wort into the fermenter through a sieve and wondered if this actually makes much difference to the taste/flavour of the finished product?
 
I pour through a sieve . I usually get a little left over hop junk in it,not much , but I mainly do it cause I feel it oxygenates the wort better for pitching yeast .
