Upgrading Taps

I've currently got a kezzer with 2 cheapie keg king taps. I need to upgrade to 4 taps and was tthinking of grabbing 2 x perlick flow control taps now and then later on when i can afford it I will replace the cheapies wtih perlicks.


What I wanted to know is, will the flow control taps work with the others if they're all coming off a single reg. Do flow control taps require a higher pressure? I currently set the reg on 10 (i think thats psi) and get perfect flow every time.


Before someone chimes up and says "just buy 4 purlicks in one go" if i could get it passed the minister of finance I would have, but 2's the best im gonna get at this stage.

Your old 2 will still need the longer beer line obviously

yep, of course, but one day I wont have metres and metres of beer line filling up my keg fridge... one day
