Due to the sudden heatwave I have spent my days in the coolroom kegging off the bright tanks and getting ready to filter our Summer Wheat Beer. For reasons that are obvious to those that have had a beer or 2 in a Sydney suburban pub, I have to filter all our beers. Blokes just don't like beer with bits in it! I like unfiltered beer, so I kegged off 50 litres and hid it in the back of the coolroom for our next tasting night. It will be interesting to see how it develops. I have been enjoying a middy or 2 each day straight out of the fermentor, it really is very refreshing. I might put an unfiltered keg of Choc Porter aside too.
