What is thread hijack? If a post is on topic (within the thread) is it hijack?
Should common-sense/experience be ignored?

Hijacking is when you post something relatively unrelated to the thread's original topic which takes it "off topic".

From what I understand thread hijacking is if someone places a post that leads the discussion away from the original question/discussion.

So if the offending post was discussing some possible negative outcomes of the original post would that make it thread hijack?

Darren,

You obviously have much more experience than I with yeast culturing, but if this thread of yours is to cause dissention amongst AHB members, then put a sock in it. The Big Qld Yeast Swap thread was to invite Qld members to share their yeasts. full Stop.

Geez You Queenslanders are sensitive lot. Worse than a group of pre-menstral women at christmas time. Sos maybe you should move up there. I reckon you would fit in quite well

Now be sure batz not to cross contaminate the previous bath water with that of the dogs and remeber to only use a fresh bottlle of shampoo unless it's been plated. :p .

Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave.

You could save energy and time and use the bath water to fill you hlt. Just make sure to strain the hairs

Darren, you've only told them something that they didn't want to hear.
You mentioned this at a club meeting a few years back and I have heeded it ever since (and I brew for a crust fellas, imagine losing 10hl!).

I wonder how many honest responses we get to hear about when all these yeasts have done the rounds? Methinks FA!
